Liam Neeson’s timely offering for frazzled train commuters

With Sydney’s suburban train services in a shambolic state and short of a driver or ten on any given peak hour, commuters from the Central Coast to the Illawarra are collectively caught up in a real-life action thriller – will their carriage be moving some time soon? Will they eventually reach home, work or wherever else they were heading?

And will train drivers return from their break or go on strike?

No doubt a large chunk of TWT readers have been traumatised by the chaos of the more recent unpredictability of their daily commute.

Perhaps Hollywood action-man Liam Neeson has the antidote, starring in an impeccably-timed offering to stimulate a little creative fantasy as you nod off in your stationary train carriage.

Courtesy of independent film distributor, Studio Canal, ten TWT readers can win double passes to (would you believe) a commuter action thriller?!

Launching in Australian cinemas on January 18, Neeson plays Michael, an insurance salesman whose daily commute home quickly becomes anything but routine – much like inconvenienced Sydney train travellers, but sensationally much worse, with all the action taking place in a train that’s actually moving.

After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on the train before the last stop.

As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he soon realises he is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes for himself and his fellow passengers.

Co-starring in the film are Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, Elizabeth McGovern and Sam Neill.
