Rhinos league teams cheer as grant kicks off floodlights

HOLY CROSS Rhinos junior rugby league teams will train under new floodlights thanks to a NSW Government grant and support from Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. New FIFA-accredited pitch to open next week

THE FIRST FIFA-accredited, synthetic turf football pitch in the City of Ryde will be built by next week. The all-weather, synthetic turf field at Christie Park will be the home ground of the Gladesville Hornsby Football Association and clubs that include Ryde Magic, the Gladesville Ravens and North West Sydney Koalas. Football gods were with Sydney FC

Man of the match Paulo Retre conceded the Gods were with Sydney FC on Saturday night as their late win over Central Coast Mariners has the club within touching distance of the Premiership.
