DON’T FORGET to nominate the people you know who deserve to be recognised for the Hunters Hill Australia Day Awards 2018. Australia Day is a day when we present honours and the Australian of the Year Awards, we recognise and thank those people who inspire us in the community, in education, health, business, sport and the arts and in so many other fields.

It is a time when the greatest contributors to our communities are traditionally recognised and receive the praise they deserve. Nomination forms are now available on the Council website www.huntershill.nsw.gov.au or by phoning Council on 9879 9400.

THERE IS no more enthusiastic supporter of our volunteers than Council.

How else do we explain the commitment and the involvement which leads to something from which the whole area benefits.

Council will hold a Volunteers Morning Tea on November 9 and is inviting organisations to nominate the people who deserve to be recognised within the area.

Continuing assistance to the community in general, remains as important now as it always has and we hope that this will remain our charter for as long as sustainable.
