Hunters Hill residents celebrated Australia Day in the Town Hall with this year’s  ambassador Catherine Saxelby and Mayor Mark Bennett presenting the 2018 Citizen of the Year to Jenny Nylund, above. 

Benjamin Jones of Hunters Hill High School, below, was named Young Citizen of the Year while Alanna Fisher was awarded Sportsperson of the Year.   TWT On-the-spot PHOTOS.

Happy Hens and Bushcare Progrqam recognised

2018 Community Event of the Year went to Hunters Hill Bushcare Program, (below left), while the Hunters Hill Achievement Award was awarded to The Happy Hens (below right) for their project of the Bedlam Bay Community Garden. TWT On-the-Spot PHOTOS

New Citizens Welcomed

Five Hunters Hill residents were welcomed as new citizens at a citizenship ceremony performed by Mayor Mark Bennett. They are Junalice Semana Alvaro, Derek Frank Frend, Luke Johnstone, Keiko Kurniawan and Michael Todd Swanander. TWT On-the-Spot PHOTOS
