Northern Districts Local Business Awards judges say they have been impressed by the outstanding quality of this year’s finalists in The Weekly Times’ debut year as the event’s media partner.
Precedent Productions managing director and Awards founder Steve Loe said judges were amazed at how the standard of awards finalists continued to rise each year.
“Our panel of judges told us that they were impressed by the high quality of every finalist they have visited,” he said.
“But knowing the Northern Districts business community as I do, it comes as no surprise as I have watched them continuously adapt over the decades to meet changes in technology and the evolving needs of their customers.
“The response of the wider Northern Districts in its support of the awards also comes as no surprise.
“This is a community that supports its own, which is what makes it such a popular place to live and work.
“Sadly, there can only be one winner in each category, but every single one of our finalists is already as winner as far as I’m concerned.”
There are only a few weeks left until the winners of this year’s Northern Districts Local Business Awards are announced at a gala presentation to be held at The Epping Club.
Mr Loe called on The Northern Districts community to recognise the generosity of the Awards’ major sponsors, City of Ryde Council and support sponsors, The Epping Club, Lane Cove Council, Hunter’s Hill Council, Riverside Business Chamber and The Weekly Times.
“Without their support, this program would simply not be possible,” he said.
This year’s category winners will be announced at Northern Districts Local Business Awards presentation evening on Wednesday August 29 at The Epping Club.
“The presentation features wonderful entertainment, with local dignitaries in attendance, but the real stars of the show are the finalists and winners,” Mr Loe said.
