Royal Institute for Deaf & Blind Children is encouraging people to join them at their Book and Community Fair this weekend from Friday May 29 to Sunday May 31.
The Fair will be held at RIDBC, 361-365 North Rock Road, North Rocks from 8am to 3pm and is proudly supported by RIDBC Abstract Committee, Westfield North Rocks, Hyundai Help for Kids and St George Bank.
“The three day eventis a great opportunity to pick up some fantastic deals, with thousands of books, toys, DVDs, CDs, records and a large assortment of collectibles available,” said RIDBC Committees & Events Executive Kaye Bailey.
Come along on Saturday for a fun filled day with lots of activities for all the family including; rides, food and market stalls, barbecue, raffle and a kids activity corner proudly supported by Westfield North Rocks that will include a jumping castle, face painting, balloon bending and more.
Hyundai will also bring lots of fun activity to this year’s Fair including the Hyundai Veloster Boot Shoot, where soccer fans, young and old, can take on the challenge and test their skills.
Come along and help RIDBC to raise $50,000 through this year’s Fair to support thousands of people with vision and hearing loss being supported by RIDBC’s broad range of therapy, education and cochlear implant services.
RIDBC is Australia’s largest non-government provider of therapy, education and cochlear implant services for people with hearing or vision loss, supporting thousands of adults, children and their families, each year.
The Institute relies heavily on fundraising and community support to be able to continue to make a difference in children’s lives.
