Ryde’s Heart Support Australia branch is conducting a Seniors Week Heart Health Care Public Forum at North Ryde Golf Club tomorrow week Thursday April 7 to which all are invited.
Forum will open at 9.30am to 4pm with free morning tea. Visitors can dine at the Golf Club for lunch or stay for dinner.
An interesting and informative program has been arranged with expert guest speakers.
At 10am Professor Andrew Sindone who is Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Concord Hospital and Patron of the Heart Support Australia Ryde Branch initiative will be first speaker.
At 11am he will be followed by Dr Michael Elstein speaking on “Longer Healthier Life”.
12pm – 2pm is Lunch break with visits to the various stalls and exhibitions at the Forum.
2pm start of second half of the Forum will feature Professor Geoffrey Tofler Head Cardiologist Heart Research Australia and Royal North Shore Hospital who will address “Preventing heart Disease” and he will be followed at 3pm by Dr Mark Barone on “Monitoring Metabolic Balance”.

Ryde Branch of Heart Support Australia meets on the first Wednesday every month at North Ryde Golf Club at 6pm in the Gardenia Room. New members welcome. Next meeting Wednesday April 6 at 6pm.
