HAVE YOU ever thought of joining Probus?
Hunters Hill Probus Club is all about friendship, fellowship and fun in retirement.
Probus provides you with the opportunity to join together with like-minded people who are keen to maintain healthy minds and active bodies through social interaction and activities with other retirees in the community.
Probus has its origins in the United Kingdom with the development of community based social clubs in the 1960s.
In later years it became a spin-off from Rotary when their members reached retirement age.

THE FIRST Probus Club formed in Australia was the Probus Club of Hunters Hill back in 1976.
Today there are Mens, Ladies and Combined Clubs (Hunters Hill club has been a mixed club since 1995) with an excess of 100,000 members across Australia.
Since the first clubs were established, Probus has grown at an astonishing rate and continues to expand nationally.
Probus provides a way to open doors to new experiences and friendships where you can hear wonderful guest speakers as well as staying active by participating in a wide range of activities.
To keep you in the loop, Hunters Hill Probus publishes a monthly newsletter and every second month the Active Retirees magazine keeps members informed about the latest news for over 55s with advice in finance, technology, health and travel.

THE PROBUS Club of Hunters Hill & District is administered by a Management Committee where the future program of guest speakers and activities is planned.
The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the Hunters Hill Club in Madeleine Street at 9.30am.
If you are newly retired, have recently moved into the Hunters Hill district and are looking for new ways to join in with people of similar outlooks, then why not come along to one of our meetings as a visitor.
