Hunters Hill 94th Combined ANZAC Eve Memorial Service

Kevin Jacobsen AM perhaps better known as entertainer and entrepreneur Col Joye accompanied by his wife Dalys presented the Commemorative Address at last Friday’s Hunters Hill 94th Combined ANZAC Eve Memorial Service in Hunters Hill Town Hall.

Col is pictured centre with Mayor Clr Richard Quinn and others who participated in the service. They include Hunters Hill RSL Sub-Branch President Roderick Stewart, Master of Ceremonies Clr Justine McLaughlin, Ryde LAC Commander John Duncan, North Sydney MP Trent Zimmerman, Lt Col Jodie Lording CSM, RAAOC, St Joseph’s College students Thomas McGregor and Benjamin Houston, Pte Alex Watts, Pastor Dr Peter Atkins, Rev Michael Armstrong, 8th Combat Service Support Battalion members, musicians Mark Trail drums, Ian Cox bugle, Michael Hope keyboard and Richard Knight piper. 

Boronia Scouts presented a guard of honour for arriving guests on the Town Hall steps after the parade from the Hunters Hill RSL Hall to where all were invited to return after the service for refreshments where Col Joye gave an impromptu performance to the enjoyment of all present, pictured above.
