Joubert Singers’ Belles Voix Concert

Three TWT readers can win double passes to a Joubert Singers’ Silver Anniversary concert Belles Voix on Sunday May 27 in Gladesville-Boronia Park Uniting Church, 93 Pittwater Road, Boronia Park at 2.30pm.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, this is the first of the Joubert Singers’ three Silver Anniversary concerts in 2018.

Titled Belles Voix, the concert features Madrigal and Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Faur; some French chansons and part-songs and some 21st century Australian works including an Australian premiere of Heather Percy’s ‘The Garden of Love’.

Verna Lee will also perform as guest harpist.

The talented Lee has won critical acclaim for her performances and has built a reputation as a versatile soloist with Australian premieres of concertos and many performances of the ever-popular Mozart and Handel harp concertos.

Verna has also performed with international artists such as Sumi Jo, Aled Jones, Il Divo, Tina Arena, the Kiev Ballet and the Deutche Kammerakademie Neuss.

Tickets $30 or $25 concession.
