ONE OF the highlights of the year in Hunters Hill is our annual Moocooboola Festival which will be held on Sunday August 6 from 9.30am to 4pm.
Festival will feature music, comedy, dance, rides, dog show, food and wine, a market bazaar, community information stalls, 9D cinema, rock climbing wall, circus playground, walk in animal farm and much more.
There are many highlights including the Dog Show that will be held at 11am at the Ring on Oval 2.
Bring your amazing dog (on a lead) and enter one of the super serious competitions – including Best Owner Look-a-like, Cutest Dog, Best Trick and Hunters Hill Dog of the Year.
Register for the dog show from 10am. Make sure you keep the date free for a day of fun filled family entertainment.

HUNTERS HILL Council elections are on Saturday September 9.
It is the first time since 2012 that all residents have had the opportunity to vote for whoÕll represent them on the council.
The council comprises two Wards with three councillors representing each ward plus a separately elected mayor.
At the election people will vote for the councillors to represent their ward and for the mayor.
Voting is compulsory for everyone enrolled in the council area so now is the time for everyone to check their enrolment details to make sure they are up to date.
The NSW Electoral Commission is managing the election.

Registration of candidates, groups and third-party campaigners has already begun.

HAVE YOU applied for your dinghy storage permit and applied the sticker?
The Council provides 21 approved sites for dinghy storage on our foreshore. All dinghies need to be registered with the Council and the permit sticker attached to the dinghy.
Council has extended the deadline for dinghy registration to July 31. Any dinghies that have not been registered by then will be removed.
