Mercedes stolen from Gladesville home

AN investigation is underway after a high end car was allegedly stolen during a break and enter in Gladesville last Friday week.

The Mercedes Benz is suspected to have been stolen around 11 pm last Thursday week and 7am on Friday and was reported to police around 11am on Friday when the owner noticed the car keys were missing.

Police report the stolen vehicle may have been involved in a high speed pusuit last Sunday week.

“Just after 2am on Sunday July 23, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were patrolling Anzac Parade, Chifley, when they attempted to pull over a Mercedes Benz,” Police said.

“When the driver failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated, which was terminated a short time later.”

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen a white Mercedes Benz C63 station wagon with registration NJW 292 or who has any information to contact police from Ryde Local Command via Crime Stoppers.
