Meadowbank Joey now a Queen scout

One of Meadowbank Scout Group’s best Joeys was presented with her Queen Scout Award recently at Castle Hill Scouts.

Danielle Barnett (pictured) started her scouting adventure at 1st Meadowbank in 2002 and transferred to Castle Hill to become a cub and continue her scouting.

Beth her Joey leader at Meadowbank and ‘Freckle’ the group leader had the pleasure to attend the award ceremony.

The Queen Scout award is the highest award in the Venturer section and is achieved with many hours of effort by the venturer in the community; with the Venturer Unit and their own activities – not to mention the time put in by the leaders and parents.

This is a much valued award in the community and many employers look in CV’s for such achievements. Well done Danielle.
