Two TWT readers have won double passes to opening night of Packemin Productions’ new production Shrek the Musical this Friday, February 2nd at Riverside Theatres Parramatta at 7.30pm.
Carlingford and Maddy Mayes of Rydalmere. Everyone’s favourite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning smash DreamWorks
animation hit film.
Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears.
“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” and thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue.
Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero.
Starring Jay Laga’aia as Shrek, Luke Joslin as Lord Farquaad, Mikayla Williams as Princess Fiona and Nat Jobe as Donkey, this show is one for the whole family!
A group of talented performers from TWT territory are featured in this production including Jessica Fallico (co-director) of Ryde; Chloe Angel (Queen Lilian & Humpty Dumpty) of West Ryde; Andy Davis (King Harold) of Willoughby; Ally Palmer of Gladesville; Chloe Rosenberg of Denistone; Emily Simmons (Cheshire Cat) of Ryde and Katia Van Hilten (Blind Mouse) of Ryde.
