TWT Winners: Shakespearean Comedy

Two TWT readers have won double passes to a matinee performance of Holroyd Musical & Dramatic Society’s current production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream this Friday July 6 at The Redgum Centre, 2 Lane Street, Wentworthville at 11am.

Winners are: Brian Sullivan, Eastwood and Jian Sun of Eastwood.

Directed by Laura May, A Midsummer Night’s Dream features an ensemble that includes local actors Alison Benstead of Hunters Hill, Jordan Heidecker (pictured) of Putney and Beecroft’s Abira Harvey.

Join the cast on a journey through the forest, unlike you’ve ever seen it before, as they explore this classic Shakespearean comedy with the same hilarious characters we all know and love and all it’s plot twists and mischief.

The forest is not what it seems, the seasons have changed and the land is undistinguishable.

Come and see this story unfold as they delve into an un-recyclable, single-use world of convenience.

Join us during Midsummer on the shortest day and longest night and see what happens when the humans delve into unknown territory and the Fairy world comes out to play…

Other performances Thursday July 5 @ 7.30pm and closing night Friday July 6 at 7.30pm.

Tickets $25. Bookings www.hmds.org.au or phone 0468 338 826.
